Nan’s 90th

February 7, 2008

This is a card i have made for my Nan’s 90th Birthday.
I got the idea from a fellow blogger, and thought it would be a lovely special card for her.
I have used acetate (although a little too thin for this) and used the stitching peall offs, without being stitched. I have placed a decoupage orchid in the middle and matched up the sentiment on the inside of the card so it won’t show through when the card is closed. Finished off with a nice organza ribbon and bow

This is a card from the grand-children. It is made using the Arty Farty Poppy template. The outside is made using the cuttlebug happy birthday embossing folder with gold card.

On the inside I have used a medallion peel off that i have places onto acetate and then used permanent markets to give colour.
This was then, placed onto the circular cut out and suspended with with gold thread, tied in a bow with a gem fixed into the centre. Embellished with gold peel offs.
