Mothers Day

January 20, 2009

I have made my first mothers day card of the year and now i have got most of the valentines day cards made i thought i’d better get started on these. I have made this card for the Sketch and Stash challenge where you use your new or never used (or neglected) stash on your cards and let them know what these items are. Well I went through my drawers an found this topper that i had bought a few of last year and forgotten i had and the backing paper is some i printed off when i first started cardmaking (think it was from the canon site). I decided to give the card a rustic look by distressing and tearing the papers as i thought this went well with the topper. Finished off with copper brads I’m really happy with the way it has turned out.
