Funky Fairy’s challenge beach

July 1, 2009

Hi all.  Well what a day I have had today so much so I almost forgot to post today.

It all started a couple of days ago when we started with a horrible smell in the kitchen.  Over the past couple of days it has been getting worse and with te heat became unbearable.  WE hd search all the usual places for possble rotting food but found nothing.  This mrning the smell was so bd it was making me wretch and OH is working away so i couln’t ask him to pul out the washer or the freezer to see if it was anything behind there.

Eventually a friend came down pulled out the washer – no nothing there.

Pulled out the freezer couldn’t see anything but the smell was horrendous, so with a torch we looked around the motor of the freezer and there all covered in maggots was a dead baby rat, Urgggh.

That’s what comes with living next to fields and a lake.

Onto a more pleasant note.

We’re now on to challenge 23  at Funky Fairys and this week we have the perfect theme for the summer….
