LIM Pastel

March 7, 2011

This week on Less is more the theme is pastels

Well i didn’t realise just how little pastel stash i had until i started searching though so i don’t think i am really very happy with this card but i thought i would enter it anyway and see what happens.

I have inked the background strips  directly onto the card using Versa color Seashell and smoke blue and then embossed some lines to give it a bit of definition.

The flower and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink Friends til the end collection.  I have used some seed beads to finish off the centre of the flower

Such a lovely delicate card. I love the flower (I would have omitted the background strips – the flower stands alone beautifully).

Love the beads you added to the flower. I love that flower stamp, but I’m not sure I would have added the strips behind the bloom. Beautiful soft colors.
