Wedding card
Ok so it’s time again for the new challenge at Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenges and this weeks theme is:
‘Here Comes The Bride’
Well this week this challenge was just perfect for me as my cousin is getting married in June and i needed to get a card made for her and her future husband. Now I won’t be in a rush like i usually am at the last minute.
Ok so here is my card:
The silver card I have had a long time and i love this card so tend to use it sparingly as not sure when i will get anything like it again.
DP: SU Nouveau Chic
Silver flower and horse shoe charm from card charms
Sentiment is computer generated and printed directly onto the card
Recycle
It’s time again for the challenge at Creative Card Crew and this we the challenge is:
RECYCLING!
Well I think the title says it all. We have to make our project recycling something.
And our sponsor this week is:
Paper Pretties is a full-service online crafting store, and home to Sophia and Cooper – the cutest kid stamps around! (At least we think so). We have many exclusive stamp lines, from elegant to whimsical, sweet to clever; there is something for every stamper in our Prettie Boutique! The prize is a stamp set!
Ok so here is my creation.
I decided to recycle bits from a card i received a long while ago now. I always save my cards and sometimes use bit off of them at a lot later date after i have enjoyed them for a while.
I decided not to make too much of a fussy card this time as i wanted to enjoy the elements that i had chosen from my source. I hope you like it
F n F sketch
Well it’s that time of week again and time for a new challenge at Fab ‘n’ Funky challenges
This weeks challenge is a Sketch created by our brilliant Emma
And this week we are sponsored by
And what a fabulous prize it is so pop over to the challenge blog and take a look.
Ok so here is my creation for this week
I’m not entirely happy with the way this card came out, but it’s definitely better than some of the attempts I made. I seem to be lacking a bit of mojo this week.

Creative Card Crew April Showers
Last week I found out that i had made it onto the DT for Creative Card Crew
Well as you can guess I was very excited and couldn’t wait to get started. The DT is split into 2 teams so we only have to make a creation every 2 weeks and guess what i am team 2 so had to wait a little before my teams challenge.
But here we go with this weeks challenge.
The Theme this week is:
April Showers
And we are being sponsored this week by:

Wow where has the week gone.
I have been so busy with hospital and physio visits that i just haven’t had chance to get in my craft room this week and i didn’t want to miss certain challenges that i love playing.
Well finally i have been able to make a card
I have made this card for 2 challenges
Less is More ONE LAYER CARD with the theme OFF THE EDGE
Creative Card Crew No flowers.

Make it Girly
It’s time again for the challenge at Fab ‘n’ Funky challenges and this weeks challenge is:
"Make it Girly"
Our sponsor this week is Pink Cat Studios
For this weeks card I decided I was going to have a play at making a Drawer easel card, something i have seen blog hopping but wasn’t sure how to go about it.
So as a challenge to myself I sat down and had a play with making my own. This took many attempts at trying to get the measurements right but finally I think I managed to do it.
Here is the finished drawer card I made.
Hopefully when I get the chance this week I will try and do a tutorial for this card with my measurements.

LIM Pastels #2
Well I wasn’t really happy with the last card so I decided to have another play and see what else i could do with pastels and here is my second try
I found some nice white embossed paper in my stash and coloured in the flowers and leaves with versa color. I decided to try and colour match the ribbon by using copic marker to change the colour of the white ribbon
LIM Pastel
This week on Less is more the theme is pastels
Well i didn’t realise just how little pastel stash i had until i started searching though so i don’t think i am really very happy with this card but i thought i would enter it anyway and see what happens.
I have inked the background strips directly onto the card using Versa color Seashell and smoke blue and then embossed some lines to give it a bit of definition.
The flower and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink Friends til the end collection. I have used some seed beads to finish off the centre of the flower
Gothic
This morning I decided to have a look though my list of challenge blogs for some inspiration and a bit of a challenge.
At Creative Card Crew this week the challenge is to Make something Gothic
Hmm I’ve never made anything gothic and when i search through my images i couldn’t find anything gothicy either. So I decided to download a Kenny K digital image and have a play.
I hope this is Gothic enough
I decided to use things from my scrap box for this. I roughened up my dp around the edges and inked them. then out came my mini sewing matching for some stitching. I found some black feathery fibres and made some black paper roses and glittered the edges.
The image is Kenny K Devastatia and i have coloured her with my copic markers.
The photo doesn’t really do this card justice. The light in my room today is a bit dull and trying to get the colours true just wasn’t happening.
Let me know what you think. Comments are always welcome.

SPRING into action!!!
And this weeks sponsor is :
I have really had fun with this week’s card. I am still sorting through my craft room finding places to put things and i found out my mini sewing machine so decided to have a play with this on my card which is something i haven’t done for ages.
I was also inspired by Heidy one of my fellow DT members to make some paper roses. I am going to make more of these as they are so much fun.
